The Online Course
What do you cover in your course?
We cover the entire career development process - from exploring different alumni paths all the way to interviews and salary negotiation. In addition, we have special modules for international students and advanced LinkedIn users. Check out our course page for a full syllabus!
How long is the course?
The course includes about five hours of video and exercises. However, having been career coaches ourselves, we highly recommend that students just watch the most relevant sections (e.g., a 5-minute video on how to network your way to a referral) - and then return to the course when they’re ready for the next stage (e.g., preparing for an interview).
How often do you update the course?
We update the course a few times each year as LinkedIn changes. In particular, we roll out a big update each summer so that incoming students have access to the freshest information!
How do you structure your course pricing?
Working in Higher Ed, we hated two things about procurement: Getting a million authorizations and then managing seats afterwards. As such, we keep our pricing low and offer unlimited usage to your entire institution - including every student, alum, and staff member. Helping students succeed should be a joy, not a pain... :)
How do we get access to the course?
Once you have your custom registration link, your students, alumni, and staff can use the course from anywhere they have internet access — on their computers, tablets, or phones. How long will we have access to the course?
All course subscriptions are on the academic calendar (July 1 to June 30). However, we’re happy to prorate the cost if you purchase in the middle of the academic year. And even if you choose not to renew at the end of the year, every member of your community who has enrolled will retain lifetime access.
Can I track student progress?
Absolutely! Contact us anytime for a full report on both registrations and course progress.

What makes your webinars unique?
In addition to sharing insider LinkedIn techniques, as former teachers, we make them incredibly engaging. That means lots of live demos, roleplays, pop quizzes, profile makeovers, and autographed book giveaways. You can get a taste for what they feel like from this feedback!
How long are your webinars?
Each webinar is 60 minutes. However, we often stay on the line for another 15-30 minutes to answer every last question!
Can we record and share the webinar?
Please do! You own the full recording and distribution rights, so we’d love for you to share with anyone who can’t join live.
What do we need to do on our end?
Just choose a date/time and send us a link to your preferred video conference platform - we’ll take care of the rest! Seriously, you can see how easy it is on our implementation page.
Do you ever do in-person trainings?
We’re happy to put together a quote that covers the additional time and travel involved. But we’ve generally found that webinars provide the most cost-efficient way to reach the most people. And because our webinars are the polar opposite of your standard PowerPoint Snoozefest™, you can be confident that they’ll still be amazing… :)
