Market Your Masterclass

Once you have your custom URL, you’re ready to share it with all your students, alumni, and colleagues. Remember, since your license is unlimited, you don’t have to restrict access or count seats - so feel free to share far and wide.

  1. Share access with all of your career colleagues across your university or organization so they can distribute to their audiences.

  2. Launch it to your students and alumni by using our email templates for new LinkedIn users or experienced users.

  3. You can also use those same templates to post on your internal site. And then, you can use that internal link to share on social media as well!

  4. Be sure to continue sharing throughout the year, especially at highly relevant moments:

    • Pre-Matriculation: Encourage students to begin their career exploration before they even get to campus

    • Orientation: Help students build a solid LinkedIn profile from the beginning so they’re ready to network

    • Mid-Year: Get students ready for interview season with LinkedIn’s research and interview prep tools

    • End of Year: Support students looking off-campus with company list-building and networking tools

    • Graduation: Send students off into the world with lifetime access to the masterclass and all future updates

  5. To track usage, feel free to contact us anytime for a full report. Alternatively, you can set-up a simple pre-registration form that lets you see how many users have registered live - as well as capture additional information (e.g., student vs. alumni status, programs graduation years). Just click here to make a copy of our form template - and then edit as desired (don’t forget to include your custom URL on the confirmation page)! If you create a pre-registration form, just let us know so we can make sure to share the same URL when communicating course updates.

Market Your Webinar

Getting ready for your webinar is a breeze! Since we’ve done over 500 of these sessions all over the world, we can boil preparation down to a few key steps:

  1. Send us two things:

    • Information about your audience (program, career stage, and biggest career pain points would be fantastic!)

      • By the way, feel free to invite as many participants across as many programs (including grad/undergrad, staff, and alumni) as you can. This is a super interactive session and so bigger groups tend to drive more energy, interaction, and learning! ⚡️

    • A link to your video conferencing platform (e.g., https://zoom.us/j/99910609766) for one hour (all sessions are 60 minutes) - so that way you have immediate access to all registration, attendance, and recording data

  2. Promote the webinar to your audience, using our email and social media templates (and our headshot/bio, if desired):

  3. On the day of the webinar, be sure to remind your registrants why joining live is so important. We recommend that you share our welcome video to get them excited!

And then Jeremy will join about 10 minutes early to do a run of show. Here’s a typical one (as well as a video version to review):

    • Opening (Optional): Feel free to make any announcements or talk about why you’re excited about the session, but definitely no need for an intro (Jeremy will cover his background briefly during the presentation). Just be sure to click the Record button so you have a copy to share (since you have full ownership over it).

    • Presentation: Jeremy will spend the bulk of the time presenting and doing live roleplays with your audience. Nothing is required on your end during this time except to make sure that we can selectively unmute volunteers (e.g., allowing a participant to chat 1:1 with us while we review their profile).

    • Q&A + Closing: While we’ll typically answer several questions that come in live during the session, we’ll also reserve time at the end to take a few more. Feel free to highlight the questions that you think would be most beneficial to the whole audience. And then the floor is yours if you’d like to do any closing announcements (e.g., surveys, upcoming sessions)!

  4. Afterwards, feel free to share the recording within your community (or edit into smaller segments to share on social media or via your newsletter). In addition, this would be a great opportunity to share your masterclass URL (if you're a subscriber) or a link to our profile grader so that your audience can apply their learning!
